The strategic word game Crossly™ offers an engaging blend of classic crossword puzzles and friendly competition, providing a unique and challenging experience for players. The gameplay involves two players alternately filling in the crossword grid, with scoring based on correct answers — each correctly guessed clue earns a point per letter, while intersecting answers deduct a point from the opponent. The app features a clean, minimalistic interface, complemented by smooth animations and playful messaging, aiming to deliver a polished crossword experience within the App Store ecosystem.

Key features include:

<li>Endless Replayability: The game sources from a vast database of tens of thousands of clues to generate unique puzzles each time, ensuring no two boards are identical and maintaining long-term engagement.</li>
<li>Steal & Taunt Mechanics: When a player misses a word, the opponent has the opportunity to steal the point and receive an additional turn. Players can also send animated GIF taunts via GIPHY integrations, adding a playful social element.</li>
<li>Peek Functionality: To assist with difficult clues, players may use a single Peek per turn to reveal a letter of their choosing. The revealed letter remains visible only to the player who activates the Peek. Bonus Peeks are granted upon game completion, and additional Peek Packs are available for purchase.</li>
<li>Penciling Tool: The penciling feature enables players to annotate the board with tentative answers at any time. These penciled answers can be modified or erased, allowing strategic adjustments as the puzzle progresses. All penciled data is saved even when offline.</li>
<li>Premium Mode: Players can enjoy unlimited games for free or opt to unlock Premium Mode, which includes 15 bonus Peeks and customizable colorful themes. An innovative pay-what-you-want model invites players to choose their preferred contribution level for upgrades.</li>
